XHair replaces the mousepointer by a crosshair. This is useful if you
want to sort your Icons or do things like that.
XHair uses the arp.library, that's why you have to copy the arp.library
to your LIBS: directory if you haven't already installed arp.
XHair can be started from workbench by simply doubleclicking it. You'll
immediately have a crosshair instead of your mousepointer. To ge your
mousepointer back just start XHair once again.
If you start XHair from CLI, there are some options you can select:
Usage: XHair [HELP] [QUIT] [COL HHH] [OLDPTR]
The arguments have the following meaning:
HELP: Shows the usage and explains the arguments.
QUIT: Signals a already started XHair-task to quit.
COL: After COL you have to type a Hex-number with 3 digits. The 3
digits represent the red, green and blue portion of the
crosshair's color. If you select e.g. COL ff0, you'll get a
yellow crosshair. If you don't select COL HHH the crosshair
will have the reverse workbench colors, like a windowborder
does while you resize it.
OLDPTR: If this option is set, your mousepointer won't be removed.
You'll get a crosshair and a mousepointer. This is neccessary
if you want to use other screens than the workbench-screen,
because the crossehair is visible only on the workbench screen.
Gummi and Kreuz are similar to XHair. Their usage is the same as XHair's
usage. Just start them to see what they do!
Have Fun!
